How does the Loan service work?
You can ask for a book on loan from our catalogue whenever you need it; and if it isn’t available at that moment in time, we’ll send you a copy from another centre or university that we work with.
In this infograph, we explain how you can make a request, what types of loans are available, how many books you can request and for how long, and where you can pick up or return your document.

How does the search engine work?
If you’re searching for information for one of your courses, you can find it using the Library search engine.
There is a range of tricks that might help you find what you're looking for. Remember to apply the search filters as they're useful for narrowing down the results by format or language, or for searching on a specific digital platform or journal. You can also search combinations of terms with the Boolean operators AND, OR and NOT, or use inverted commas before and after a term to recover results that contain these words exactly.
What can the Library offer you?
Simply by being a member of the UOC Community, you have access to thousands of e-books, online journals and specialist digital platforms in your area of study.
This welcome guide will provide you with a selection of resources tailor-made for your course.
